Patch focus: Update 14.x overall meta (investment priority across Story and common endgame).

New players: redeem codes first, then follow the beginner guide.

How to read ranks

Tier Meaning Account advice
SS Meta carries Invest freely if you pull them
S Excellent mains Core of most mid-game teams
A Strong / flexible Great if you lack SS
B Situational Keep if traits are good
C Skip long-term Early fillers only

Names use common community labels. In-game names may include evolution form suffixes.

SS — prioritize hard

Who: Top Secret / Vanguard DPS and map-wide utility from recent banners.

Why invest

  • Highest clear speed → fewer wipes and faster farms
  • Stay relevant across Story, hard stages, and many events
  • Best home for Trait Rerolls from codes

Account fit: Any account that owns them. Do not sit on SS with default traits if you have free rerolls.

S — excellent mains

Who: Strong single-target or AoE specialists; supports that amp / slow / utility.

Why invest

  • Easier to build around than ultra-niche secrets
  • Cover gaps when you do not own every SS
  • Good second core while you save for the next banner

Account fit: Mid-game players pushing content with 1–2 solid cores.

A — good investment

Who: Reliable Story / farm units; clear evolution material paths; CC or economy fillers.

Why invest

  • Clears early–mid content without premium luck
  • Materials are usually easier to farm than chasing every banner
  • Valid “main until SS” path

Account fit: Beginners and F2P after codes — see beginner guide.

B — situational

Who: Power-crept older units; mode specialists; fun picks that need support.

Why (or why not)

  • Fine if you already rolled great traits
  • Do not dump new banner currency here
  • Keep as flex slots, not full investment trees

C — skip for investment

Who: Low-rarity placeholders; outclassed DPS with no unique job.

Why skip: Early placement only. Replace as soon as A-tier or better appears.

Quick decision tree

  1. Just redeemed codes? → Reroll traits on your best DPS, not a random epic.
  2. No SS? → Build one A/S clear team before spreading mats.
  3. Banner FOMO? → If the unit is not SS/S for your holes, bank gems.
  4. Still under Level 30? → Finish Story for code level gates, then optimize.

Summon & trait tips

  1. Bank resources before weak banners when you know an update is close.
  2. Trait Rerolls = premium — only long-term mains.
  3. One complete team beats six half-built units.
  4. Funnel free code rerolls into main DPS first.

Simple team framework

Role Goal
Main DPS Highest consistent damage you own
AoE / clear Dense wave handling
Utility Slow, amp, cleanse, economy
Flex Boss specialist or second DPS
